Miss your visits at the house and all your help with the garden. The fun times picking mushrooms, strawberries and then going to Niks' Inn. All your sage advice with carpentry and car repairs. You always new where the bargains were and the good restaurants, and the best German butcher shops and Deli's. Sure miss you, Dad, but I know you are free and having a good time with those that left before you. Love,Josie - Posted by: josie kokorsch (daughter) on: Apr 10, 2017

I am deeply sadened at the passing of EMIL; He was truly like a father to me since loosing my dad in 1977; from day one he not only accepted me into the family but connected with my heart. Today it is shattered and my only saving grace is knowing he is in a better place, free from the pain and suffering he endured. He may have been small in stature but to me was a gentle giant among many, a man I had the ut-most respect and admiration. He taught me so much about life, and, how humour and dare I say practical jokes should continue to play a part in our life , where we often sadly take our-selves way too serious. Today my heart aches for the beautiful and precious family he leaves behind We all should take great relief in knowing his contribution to our society will long be remembered...I know he has galvanized my heart with the fond memories etched in my being. Until we meet again dad...rest eternally in peace, All of my love Your son-in-law Gregory. - Posted by: GREGORY D ZED (SON-IN-LAW) on: Apr 10, 2017

With deepest sympathy. Emil will be a part of our memories. A lovely man, a great neighbour. He shared his time, advice, and humour generously. Always seen him walking down the backlane or front street visiting the neighbours. Emil dropping in at 305 was always welcomed. - Posted by: Susan (Brown) & Ron Radley (Neighbour) on: Apr 10, 2017
