JOHN SABADOS December 4, 1936 - April 13, 2017 John Herman Sabados of Winnipeg, Manitoba, suddenly passed away, Thursday, April 13, 2017 at the St. Boniface Hospital. John is survived by his daughter Elizabeth (Roy), grandsons, Justin and Matthew; daughter Debbie (Pilan), grandson Troy; granddaughters, Donna and Susan; sister Betty; nephews, Stephen (Jeannette), Wayne (Val). John is predeceased by his adoring wife Christa Sabados. John was born December 4, 1936 in Weyburn, Saskatchewan. John worked at Wilson Auto Electric from 1963 until his retirement in 2000. John had a love for horses and enjoyed watching them race at the Assiniboine Downs. John also enjoyed watching the CFL and NFL and he could be heard a mile away cheering on the Bombers and Packers. Johns love of the Toronto Blues Jays was unequaled and thoroughly enjoyed watching them play, win or lose. John would often call with period updates whenever the Winnipeg Jets were playing on TV. John loved his sports. John, you will be missed more than could ever be imagined, our love for you will remain strong and your love of family will continue on in our hearts forever. Thanks to the staff at the St. Boniface Hospital, 7A West, specifically Taryn for their kindness and care. Family and friends are welcome to join the celebration of life for John to be held at Mike Sunka Place, 275 St. Anne's Rd., Winnipeg, MB between 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., Friday, April 21, 2017.
