BETTY LOU BEACH (née PIRRIE) February 26, 1940 - April 15, 2017 Peacefully on April 15, 2017, Betty passed away at the age of 77, with her family by her side, at the Riverview Health Centre. She has been fighting Lung Cancer for over three years and now can rest. Betty was always a strong and independent woman. She was always at the center of her family. She loved playing BINGO and missed enjoying meeting her friends there. She was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Leslie Beach (2003); her son Leslie; and her many siblings. She is lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her children: Wendy Kowalski, Kim Goodman, Terry Beach (Ronnie), and Colleen Beach (Sean); her grandchildren; great-grandchildren, and many other family members and friends. You will be missed by each and every one of us, and will forever be in our hearts. Respecting Betty's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service. However there will be a remembrance gathering for family and friends held on Friday April 21, 2017 between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. at her home of 543 Stella Avenue. We would like to thank the wonderful staff at Riverview Health Centre, 3rd floor East for their kindness during Betty's final days. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to CancerCare Manitoba or Operation Smile Canada.
