Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELISABETH KOLAR May 2, 1934 - April 6, 2017 It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our incredible Mother, Oma, Sister, Tante, and friend Elisabeth Kolar. Elisabeth was born in Munich, Germany on May 2, 1934 and passed peacefully on April 6, 2017 at the age of 82 years, with her family by her side. Mom will be sadly missed by her three children, Stephen and Peter Kolar, and Katherina Meseman, her grandchildren whom she loved and adored, Alyssa and Alexander Meseman, Kianna Kolar, Richard and Melissa Sipinski and Faith and Hope Gushulak, brother-in-law Rudi Folger, honorary brother Nick Hanuschuk (Irene) and Shelby Hanuschuk; as well as nieces Anna Sipinski (Ed), Sonya Hiebert (Ray), Pamela Christler-Martin (Ross). Mom has a lot of family in Germany whose lives she touched deeply, and although far away we know they share in our pain, her siblings Josef Christler (Evi), and Alfons and Helmut Christler, and her sister Hedwig Hopf, along with several nieces and nephews. Mom was predeceased by her husband Stan Kolar in 1995, her parents, her sisters Anna Folger and Helga Eckmann whom she missed very much, Connie Folger, and her brothers Norbert Christler and George Weiller. Mom enjoyed life to the fullest, in her younger years she loved to dance, she loved gardening, especially flowers, and she loved to be around children. As she got older she enjoyed going for lunch, going to the casino, playing bingo or just simply going for a car ride. Many thanks to Mom's friends Heidi and Irene who always looked after her, we are truly grateful. Please join us in celebrating Mom's life on Monday, May 1, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 211 Kimberly Avenue. Flowers gratefully declined, but as Mom would like it, please do something nice for someone, or try to make someone's day a little brighter or better. Rest in peace Mom, you are our Hero, Mentor and we miss you so much.
