ELSIE PITURA
Born: Mar 20, 1922
Date of Passing: Apr 23, 2017
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELSIE PITURA (nee BILOCERKOWICH) March 20, 1922 - April 23, 2017 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Elsie Pitura - mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, on Saturday, April 23, 2017 at the Shepherd's Care Centre at age 95 years. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Pat (Tom) Davidson; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Mike; brother, Walter; sister, Anne; and daughter, Dianne. Elsie and Mike lived most of their lives in Winnipeg before moving to Edmonton to be with family. Elsie was always very caring and generous. She was also extremely creative and liked to share all her works, especially her crocheted tea towels. Her whole life was centered around her family. Many thanks to the doctors and all the caregivers for their dedication and kindness for supporting my mother's needs; "you are special people". Flowers are gratefully declined, the family would instead like to kindly request that you do an unexpected act of kindness for someone less fortunate than yourself, or make a donation to the Alzheimer Society if you prefer. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at OLPH Church on Bower Drive in Sherwood Park, Alberta. Fountain Garden Funeral Chapel (780) 457-6600
