RICHARD DAVID DUDECK It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce David's passing in Ladysmith, BC at the age of 71. Born in Toronto, he led the pack in a family of over 50 cousins. He was father to Brent, Lee (deceased), Darren, Ryan and Calvin, grandfather to nine, and dear brother of Shirley, Elaine, April and Debbie. David worked and resided in Winnipeg most of his life then in retirement moved to Ladysmith. He was a collector of model cars and sailing ships. More recently David discovered the adventures of the computer and was more than willing to share his newfound knowledge with anyone who would listen. As a family we are comforted that David is reunited with his parents, Joe and Sophie, his son Lee, and his great-grandson Benson. A private celebration of life will take place August 10, 2017. Cremation has taken place and David will be laid to rest with his son Lee. "It is what it is"

David was the best brother a sister could have. Even though he tortured me when we were growing up, he was always there for me when I needed help. So every time I moved he was there, a basement flood, a mouse in the kitchen, whatever, he was my rescuer. I will miss him a great deal. - Posted by: Shirley Dudeck (Sister) on: Apr 29, 2017
