ERNEST ARTHUR RAY LISCOMBE Ernest Arthur (Ray) Liscombe passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, Sunday, April 30, 2017. He was predeceased by his loving wife Ann in 2009 and is survived by his daughter Jan; son David; daughter-in-law Liz and grandchildren, Cristopher and Benjamin; sister Joy; niece and nephew, Cindy and Derek. Ray was born March 10, 1928 in Winnipeg. He met Ann in 1946 at the University of Manitoba and they were married in 1950. They raised their family in Winnipeg and Minneapolis, moved to California in 1975, returning to Minnesota in 2003. Ray was active in the Anglican Church and was always concerned for the well being of others. He will be sorely missed by his family and all who knew him. The family would like to thank all the caregivers at Friendship Village and the staff from Park Nicollet Hospice for their wonderful comfort and care. A celebration of Ray's life will be held at Friendship Village, 8100 Highwood Drive, Bloomington, MN Friday, May 5 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name, to Park Nicollet Hospice fund, c/o Park Nicollet Foundation, 6500 Excelsior Boulevard, St. Louis Park, MN 55426
