FREDA PEEBLES February 16, 1934 - May 3, 2017 Peacefully surrounded by family, Freda Peebles passed away on May 3, 2017 at the age of 83 years. Wake services are being held at the Black River Band Hall, Black River First Nation, MB from Thursday, May 4 to Saturday, May 6, 2017. Funeral Service will be held at St. George Anglican Church, Black River First Nation, MB at 2:00 p.m., with Reverend Ernest Macpherson, and Reverends Nancy and Richard Bruyere officiating. Interment in the church cemetery. Freda was predeceased by her husband Edward; daughter Carol; mother Flora; brothers, Victor, William and Kenneth (Nellie); sisters, Margaret (Freddie) and Agnes (Mathew); and sister-in-law Margaret. She is survived by her children, Stella, Ken and Amanda (Wade), siblings, Ernest (Jackie), Wilfred and Matilda; sister-in-law Mary Rose, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of Betel Care Home, for their care and compassion.
