Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySHIRLEY MARIE FILLION (nee BARTON) Shirley passed away suddenly on Monday, May 1, 2017 at the age of 78 years. She is survived by her loving husband Alfred, of almost 60 years, daughter Kim (Ken), son Terry (Eleanor), six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, sister Dawn (Cliff) Elyk, and brother Bruce (Audrey) Barton; also sister-in-law Shirley (George) Leweo. Shirley was born on July 4, 1938. She worked at Eaton's and then the Royal Bank data centre. When she retired she and Alfred moved to the R.M. of Portage la Prairie. She enjoyed spending her summers at the cottage with her family out at Spruce Bay. At Shirley's request there will be no formal funeral service. If friends so desire, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. Unit 3, 2430 Victoria Avenue, Brandon, MB R7B 0M5 would be appreciated.
