Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY ANNE LENTON Mrs. Mary Anne Lenton, aged 73 years, passed away peacefully, with her husband by her side, on Thursday, May 4, 2017 in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Mary was born in O'Connor Township on July 29, 1943 to Neil and Margaret Ross. She worked for Loblaws, A&P and then as a secretary for their family business, Gerry's Job Site Trailers until retirement. She was a dedicated and hard worker. She loved her family and spending time playing with her grandchildren. In her younger years, Mary enjoyed camping and bowling. She was very proud to have been the first female President of the Lions Club in Thunder Bay. Mary had a heart of gold who made friends easily and will be missed by many. Mary is survived by her husband of 56 years, Gerry; her three children Gary, Joe and Linda Gillis (Frank Miele); grandchildren Brian, Cody, Stephanie, Krystal and Sember; great-grandchildren Owen, Avery, Erin and Aidan; siblings, Shirley (Gordon) Peel, June Gordon and George Ross. Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. Predeceased by her parents; stepfather Bill Graham, and her parents in-law Howard and Ida Lenton. Funeral services for the late Mrs. Mary Lenton will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2017 in the Westfort Chapel (420 West Gore Street, Thunder Bay, ON P7E 6J2) with the Rev.
