THE HONOURABLE DANIEL C. ABBOTT 1936 - 2017 Retired Judge of the Provincial Court of Alberta, born November 26, 1936 in Winnipeg, passed away May 14, 2017 in Edmonton. Danny will be sorely missed and fondly remembered by his wife Donna Read, his children Laurence Abbott (Brenda) and Jennifer Caron (Harvey), their mother Sharon Abbott, and his beloved granddaughter Hannah Abbott, all of Edmonton. He will also be missed by his stepdaughters Johanna Read (Paul Koros) of Vancouver and Megan Read (Simon Ouellette) of Castlegar, BC, as well as his two step-grandsons Amri and Piers Ouellette also of Castlegar. A funeral service, with interment to follow, will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at the Edmonton Jewish Cemetery, 7622 101 Ave. A later celebration of his life will be held in Edmonton on Thursday, May 25, 2017.
