EWART RODNEY MCAULEY August 15, 1959 - May 23, 1967 In loving memory of our beloved seven year old little brother Ewart. Although we had you for a short time and loved you so much, we could not make you stay. We watched you suffer as Cancer claimed another one of God's children, so to end your pain, you slowly slipped away as the Angels called you back home. On the 50th anniversary of your passing from earth to heaven, know you are always near us in thought, always in our hearts. All our love around you, brother Angus McAuley, sisters Shelagh McAuley, Marcia McAuley, Colleen Loewen. Also taken by Cancer at age 19, sister Margaret McAuley, March 1972. Over the past half-century great strides have been made in the battle against childhood cancer, survival rates were less than 60%, today over 82% of children survive.
