IONE EDNA HUNT For those who wished, viewing was held on Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Truth and Life Worship Centre, 51 Richfield Avenue off of Ste. Anne's Road. Ione's Funeral Service was held on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. also in the Worship Centre with Pastors M. W. Chambers and C. Layne officiating. IONE EDNA HUNT (nee NEWBOLD) On Tuesday, May 16, 2017, Ione Hunt passed away suddenly at her home at the age of 94 years. She came to Canada with her husband Walter and son Elvis in 1983 from St. Vincent, West Indies. Ione leaves to mourn nine children, Lily Ellison, Jasmine and Elvis Hunt of Winnipeg, Stella Emmons and Veltie Brown of the United States of America, Cheryl, Claudette, Vesta, Hunt and son Hudnell Hunt of St. Vincent; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Walter in 2001 and son Edron in 1967. For those who wish, viewing will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2017, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Truth and Life Worship Centre, 51 Richfield Avenue off of Ste. Anne's Road. Ione's Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. also in the Worship Centre with Pastors, M.W. Chambers and C. Layne officiating. Interment will follow in Garry Memorial Park, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard at 1:00 p.m. A reception will follow after the interment back at the church. Pallbearers will be Tony Findlay, James Rodych, Jorden Hunt, Shawn Hunt, Robert Ellison and Michael Emmons.
