Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES GEORGE STARR (CHALUK) Peacefully, surrounded by family, James George Starr "Chaluk" of Sagkeeng First Nation passed away on May 21, 2017, at the age of 81 years. Wake services are being held at the Christ Church Anglican Hall, Sagkeeng First Nation, MB from Monday, May 22 to Thursday, May 25, 2017. Funeral service will be held at Christ Church Anglican, Sagkeeng First Nation, MB at 11:00 a.m., with Reverends Nancy and Richard Bruyere officiating. Interment in the church cemetery. Traditional Feast in honour of Chaluk to follow interment. James was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Flora Starr, his sisters, Flora, Lucy, Bertha, Christine and Eleanor, his brothers, Cecil and Douglas, his son Nelson, and step-children, Nina and Stanley. He is survived by his brothers, Walter and John, sister Grace (John), his sons, Philip (Margaret), Henry, David, Cecil, Earl (Christine), Jamie (Sheri), and William (Karly), his daughters, Marlene, Sharon (Brian), Sandy (Kelly), and Clorice, his step-children, Juliet, Florence, Raymond and Leann, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.
