Born: Apr 22, 1924
Date of Passing: May 19, 2017
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKATHLEEN (KAY) ROBINSON April 22, 1924 - May 19, 2017 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Kay Robinson. Kay passed away peacefully in Langley, BC on May 19, 2017 with family by her side. She was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Doris Lee and her sister and brother-in-law, Audrey and Doug Harper. Kay is survived by and will be dearly missed by her son Larry (Lorna) Robinson and grandchildren, Allison (Patrick) and Shannon; her daughter Geri (Wayne) Povey and grandchildren, Brian (Leigh-Ann), Glen (Kim) and Steve (Carolyne); her great-grandchildren, and the Harper family in Kent Washington. A very strong-willed lady, she had strength and class. She was a clever business woman and co-founder of Prairie Fireplaces and Hearth and Patio. Kay was a loving mom and caring grandmother who dealt with each of us as individuals. She had strong opinions but was never judgemental. She tried to steer all of us on a safe path. Kay left a lasting impression on all those who met her. We would like to thank all of the staff at the Langley Lodge for their compassion and care. You were always so patient and kind to Mom. The family will hold a private celebration of Kay's life. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Kay Robinson may be made to the University of Winnipeg or the University of Manitoba.
