SONYA BALUK (nee STOROZUK) 1924 - 2017 It is with great sorrow we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother and Baba, May 26, 2017, at Park Manor Care Home. Mom will be remembered and so dearly missed by her daughter Barb (John Tutt) and their children, Laurene (Keith) and Melanie (Sam) and their children, Hadi and Mariam, her son Greg (Mona) and their children, Alissa and Kara. Mom was born near Oakburn, MB and spent all of her adult life in Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her loving husband Andrew in 2002, and sisters, Rose and Kathlene. Mom was a kind, generous, and caring person. She cherished her family above all else and we will cherish our memories. A memorial service will take place at Glen Eden Funeral Home on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
