WILLIAM (BILL) BOYLE Bill Boyle of Hammonds Plains passed away peacefully, on Monday, May 29, 2017, at the age of 84. He was born in bonnie Scotland, a son of the late Mary and William Boyle. The family immigrated to Canada in 1958 and made their home in Winnipeg where he met the love of his life, Maureen. They later moved to Nova Scotia where they prospered and made many life-long friends. Bill was well known in the grocery industry in Winnipeg, owning Boyle's Budget Basket for many years. In Nova Scotia, both he and Maureen opened Neighbours Coffee Shop in Fall River. Bill will be deeply missed by his beloved wife Maureen (MacLeod); his children, Alan (Sheila), Stephen (Glenda), Carol Boyle-Ferber (Keith Ferber) and Kevin (Eva); 10 grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and extended family both in Scotland and Canada. Predeceased by his brothers and sister all of Scotland. A special thank you to the staff at the Cobequid Centre for their exceptional care and compassion. In accordance with Bill's wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. For those wishing, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
