BRIAN JOHNSON
Born: Apr 06, 1967
Date of Passing: May 28, 2017
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBRIAN JOHNSON April 6, 1967 - May 28, 2017 After a brief illness, it is with great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Brian Johnson in Scottsdale, Arizona on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at the age of 50. Brian was predeceased by his mom, Carol Johnson in 2008. He leaves to cherish his memory, the love of his life, wife Michelle (nee Grisim), son Justin (fiancée Michelle), daughter Chantel (boyfriend Bryan), father Don Johnson, sister Cheryl Newman, niece Ashley and nephew Daniel. He will also be missed by the Grisim family, godmother Valerie Dopson and furry friend Bailey. Brian grew up in Transcona where he was always busy; riding his bike down Crocus Park Hill (broken arm resulted), playing hockey and soccer, motorizing his pedal bike, building monster ice cream sundaes at home and huge pizzas at Chicken Delight, working on his black Vega hatchback or hanging out with the Laurentia Bay boys. His friends and especially Blake Kehler were very important to him. Brian's passion for designing stunning kitchen cabinet layouts and installing cabinets for Kitchen Craft Cabinetry provided him and his young family the opportunity to settle in Scottsdale in the summer of 1998. There, Brian, Michelle and the kids adventured to Nevada, California, Florida, and Mexico, and made many happy memories, camping and riding quads in the sand dunes. In keeping with Brian's wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will take place. Gone yet not forgotten, although we are apart, your memory lives within us, forever in our hearts.

Thinking of Michelle and the kids. So sad to hear. I loved the write up. So many fond memories. I was at the Crocus Hill when Brian flew down on his bike and broke his arm. I remember him and Blake skipping with us on Laurentia Bay. Playing football in my front yard. Rest in peace Brian. - Posted by: Maureen Mulvenny Wright (Friend) on: Jun 04, 2017

I knew Brian from school & also hung with him & his bestie Blake with a group of us. Mostly it was all couples. Brian & Michele - Joey & Rayna, me & my bf at the time Brian & Blake & his gf at the time Angela. We had good times & I remember him as being a great guy, party animal & trouble maker! lol I hadn't seen him in many years as he & his family moved. I was shocked to hear of his death. God bless his wife & kids & family members. RIP BJ. - Posted by: Dena Torchia (Friend from high school ) on: Jun 04, 2017
