Steve was always willing to engage in intellectual conversation. He was very excited and enthusiastic when it came to sharing a "great book" he had purchased or read. I will miss him challenging me on our opposing views and lengthy discussions on world religions and Christianity. I have fond memories of Steve's willingness and the time he took to proof read all my university essays. What I admired the most about Steve was that in spite of all the disappointments and hardships Steve encountered he demonstrated a zest for his family and continued "plugging along". Steve faced many obstacles and health challenges but continued to persevere with courage setting a standard of making the most of what life gives us. - Posted by: Mary Elizabeth Long (friend) on: Jun 06, 2017
