Date of Passing: May 23, 2017
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCURTIS MCLEAN 1970 - 2017 It is with extreme sorrow the family of Curtis Donald McLean announces his sudden passing, as a result of heart failure, on May 23, 2017. Curtis was born in Winnipeg on July 13, 1970, but spent most of his life living in Calgary. Curt or "Curtis", as he was known to all but family, was a wonderful, kind, and very gregarious person who would literally speak to everyone he passed. He had a very strong faith and had recently been exploring employment within a Christian based company. He loved the outdoors and cycling, along with collecting just about everything "that anyone might need" in the event of an emergency. We miss him dearly! He is survived by his parents Don McLean and Shirley Penner (Calgary), Chris and Gord Nesbitt (Winnipeg), sister Kelly McLean, (Scott Kerbis), sister Tricia Penner (Doug Thiessen), brother Patrick Penner (Karin), nieces and nephews Brett, Alexa, Brynn, Cole, Bayley, and Amy, his Aunt Mona McDonald, and cousins Lee, Lisa and Todd, Uncle Art Reimer, with cousins Kelly and Kent, and Aunt Joyce and Uncle Marv Warman with cousins Michelle, Marci and Maria. A celebration of his life will be scheduled for Winnipeg. Condolences may be forwarded through www.choicememorial.com
