BARRIE CHARLES ELGIN PRICE
Born: Sep 13, 1945
Date of Passing: Jun 02, 2017
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBARRIE CHARLES ELGIN PRICE "Love Never Ends" Barrie began life's endeavour September 13, 1945. Barrie had a great love for his friends and family. He'll be remembered by many for his wonderful sense of humour and his being a prankster (nobody was exempt). He said the best time in his life was when they lived in a gated community in Kelowna, where the owners came together in work and play. We all will miss his wit, advice and helping hand. He was predeceased by his mother and father Thelma and John; siblings Darlene and Brian; grandson Tayson; brothers-in-law Edward and Herb; good friends Art and Dennis, and his Bro, Lou Spencer. Barrie will be sadly missed by his loving wife Evangeline; daughters Rhonda (Mike) McDonald and Donell (Alex) Bear; stepchildren Dwayne (Karen) Donald, Sandy (Alex) Kuzemchuk and Karen L. Donald; grandchildren Jonna, Reid, Daniel and Jackson; stepgrandchildren Tammi (Brian), Samantha, Breanna and Jordan; stepgreat-grandchildren Emmersyn, Payten and Kalon; his brother Reid (Shirley); sisters-in-law Rita, Phyllis and Dorothy; brothers-in-law Gerry and James (Donna), as well as aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and his many friends. Barrie's family wishes to thank Dr. Ben Wiese and the caring staff at Brandt's Creek Mews for the excellent care he received until his passing June 2, 2017. There will be no gathering; instead his wife asks that you take the time to reflect back to when you knew Barrie and what he meant to you and raise a glass to him. A private placing of his ashes will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kelowna and area office for The Alzheimer Society of BC, #307 - 1624 Richter Street, Kelowna, BC V1Y 8N3. Barrie will be remembered for the enjoyment he got from radio, singing along to music or listening to stories, whether he was at home or on the road. It's fitting to close Barrie's journey with the words of Stuart McLean "Love Never Ends". Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.everdenrust.com
