ZELJKO KARPA Zeljko Karpa, 59 of Winnipeg, passed away June 2, 2017. Funeral service will be held at Sveti Savo Serbian Church, June 8 at 10:00 a.m., followed with burial at Brookside Cemetery. Lunch in his name will be held at family home after the service. Zeljko was born in Nova Gradiska, Croatia and lived in a small town of Okucani. Not many knew his real name but everyone knew who Karpa was. He was known for his big heart, love for fishing and his outstanding cooking. He was a legend who walking among us, a father of Suzana and Dragana and a loving husband to Ana. Karpa lived his life always making everyone laugh and eat his specialties, especially "Corbanac". He will be missed by many, the laughs will get louder and love will be deeper, memory of him will live on and his presence will never be forgotten. "Malo slada, malo zorka, malo trubci I motorka pomjesa se vise koja eto gde je snaga moja."
