Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • Words cannot express how much I miss you. On the other hand, it brings me peace that you are free from pain and reunited with some of your family members. I will always remember our little chats about family, laughing at each others crazy antics, our plan to drive out to Half Moon Diner and visit some of the heritage sites. I will still do that and you can be my co-pilot in spirit. You found peace with your Lord and He guided you on your journey home. You were my next door neighbor for less than a year but we sure were growing closer as time went by. It was a pleasure to have met your children Shelly and Jamie and your sister Lynn . . . such wonderful people who loved you so much. I certainly didn't think I would be writing this but cancer is just nasty. Rest in Peace my friend and know we shall meet again . . . • I never met Darlene face to face met her playing a game on facebook but I considered her a friend . If we lived near each other I am quite sure we would be friends and spend time together . She seemed to me to be such a happy go lucky person always quick to respond if something was going wrong in my life. I so wish I had gotten to meet her in person I will miss her photos and comment on facebook. God be with her family in their grief. My deepest sympathies and prayers. Good by Darlene you are missed. - Posted by: Debra Schlosman (facebook friend) on: Jun 10, 2017

  • I worked with Darlene for many years at Sears she was always a fun and caring person and her love for her kids and animals goes without saying she was always there to help them and her mom, hope she's laughing with her mom now joking around like she used to. - Posted by: Gordon (Co-worker) on: Jun 10, 2017

  • I briefly met Darlene through her daughter Shelley who I worked with. The very first time I met Darlene at work when she came to pick Shelley up, I connected with her and liked her very much. I remember times that Darlene would call work to talk with Shelley but Shelley had already left to catch her bus so Darlene and I would talk for awhile. She was so easy to talk with. I am very glad I got to see Darlene once more in the hospital before she went to be with the Lord. Rest in peace and pain free now Darlene. - Posted by: Connie Ferris (Friend) on: Jun 10, 2017
