Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH (BETTY) KOEHLER (KRALL, COLLINS) (nee PETTIGREW) It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of Althea Elizabeth (Betty) Koehler on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at the Concordia Hospital. Betty passed away at 75 years of age, with family by her side. Betty was born on January 21, 1942 in Winnipeg to Ernest and Margaret Pettigrew. She resided in Winnipeg all of her life. Betty was a strong and loving woman whose greatest joy was her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered for the love, courage and strength she gave to her family as well as her unique sense of humour. Betty was predeceased by her grandparents, her parents, her eldest son John, four uncles, seven aunts, several cousins and friends. Left to mourn her loss are her husband David, daughter Melody (Cliff), son Brad (Christie), grandchildren, Amber, Matt (Jennifer), Chelsea, Ryan, and Ava, great-grandsons, Cole and Cody, great-great-granddaughter Felicity, brother Bill (Carol), sister Melaine (Steve), step-daughter Christine (Duane), step-son Jamie (Margaret) and their children, Lilly, Peter and Edward, special friend Jeff, as well as her nieces, nephews, numerous cousins and friends. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 12, 2017 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street at Luxton Avenue. Following a lunch, inurnment will take place at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Avenue. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at the Concordia Hospital for their care, ensuring Betty was comfortable and peaceful as she completed her final journey.
