My husband and I played golf with Carol at the Winnipeg Canoe Club. Since we were both from the UK we had lots of conversations about the “Old Country”. Carol was a lovely person and had a good soul. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Due to a previous commitment we are unable to attend her service, but our thoughts and prayers are with her family today. Carol was my cousin. She first came to Canada from the UK almost 48 years ago and first stayed with my parents in Napanee,ON. I was fortunate to share many birthdays, holidays, vacations and just day-to-day time with Carol over the years during her time in Ontario and later when she lived in Winnipeg. She was generous almost to a fault, always ready to help, to pitch in when asked and relationships were so much more important to her than anything else in life. Carol truly believed in the old adage that ÿour are never wanting or poor in life when you are rich in friends". Like many friends and family...I will miss her. - Posted by: Gary Whitfield (Cousin) on: Jun 15, 2017

Carol and I met around 30 years ago at the Winnipeg Canoe Club. We had many good times there golfing and socializing. She was a dear friend who made sure we kept in touch all these years. I miss her already. - Posted by: Linda prociuk (Friend) on: Jun 13, 2017
