Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFLORENCE INA GREYEYES Florence Ina Greyeyes passed away on Friday, June 9, 2017 surrounded by family members. She was born April 29, 1943 in Rolling River First Nation to Neil and Lizzie Wilson (nee Chartrand). Her traditional name was Deabway (Truthful) Giizhedook. Ina, as she preferred to be called, was a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt to many children. She was predeceased by her husband George Alexander Greyeyes, son Vincent Shawn Greyeyes and many other family members. Her daughter and sons, Denise, Marlin and Trevor Greyeyes, mourn her passing. Her grandchildren Tara, Tiffany, Trent and Justice miss her. Great-grandchildren Tina, Leighlee, Kingsley and Liam will remember her. A memorial service will be held at Weetamah Church (Salvation Army) 324 Logan Avenue (Lizzie Street doors) at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 15. A feast will take place in Rolling River First Nation on Friday June 16 with the internment of her ashes to follow.
