Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALAN JAN MANCER July 12 1942 - June 8 2017 It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Alan after a very brief illness, our husband, father, brother, uncle and good friend to many. Predeceased by his daughter Caitlin. Survived and missed by Kate, Stephen, Lois, Suzanne, Marilyn, Elizabeth and many nieces, cousins, in-laws and lifelong friends. In lieu of flowers, donations in Al's memory may be made to a charity of your choice. In response to Al's wishes, no memorial service will occur. We want to express our special gratitude to Al's sister Lois, who spent most of the last two weeks of Al's life with him at Vancouver General Hospital. When she wasn't there she was walking Zeke, Al's loving dog who also misses him dearly.

Sorry to hear of Al's passing. Al was my Loan Officer at RBC, Main & Semple in the 70's and I appreciated his advice and assistance. He was always respectful of his clients and staff members.
