ELIZABETH NELSON Elizabeth (Liz) Nelson, with her family by her side, went to be with the Lord on June 12. Loving memories of her will forever be cherished by her surviving husband Bernie, daughters, Lori (David) and Linda, and grandchildren, Ashlyn, Colton and Nicole. Liz was predeceased by her parents, Paul and Mary, and her brother Michael (Olga). A lifelong resident of Winnipeg, Liz was a loving mother, doting grandmother, and devoted wife. She was a true pillar of her family, and had many dear friends throughout her life. Tending to her garden, reading and spending time with her grandchildren were her life's passions. Elizabeth's kind spirit and compassion for others touched so many lives in countless ways. Flowers are gratefully declined. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Parkinson Society Manitoba or Winnipeg Humane Society. Mom, in life we will miss you, but you are always with us in our hearts.
