Dear Bernie and family. Angie and I want to pass along our warmest condolences to you and your family. MS is a horrible disease, and from what I understand Meira battled it with grace and dignity, a true testament to her beautiful soul, and although I never had the pleasure of ever meeting Meira, I just know that anyone with Bernie's genetics would be that such a person. Huge Hugs To All ! Much Love ! <3 - Posted by: James and Angie Earle (Friends of the family) on: Jun 25, 2017

Never having met Myra Lofchick, I have no life story to relate, however, I would like to extend my condolences to the family of Myra, Bernie and Elaine. May God in heaven bless you and give you peace and comfort. Bernie probably doesn't remember me, but I worked for him many years ago, selling Kitchen Queen cookware. I was the guy who flunked the one-week training course, but you gave me a chance none-the-less. I went on to win an award for the highest sales in my first month of work, not only within your crew, but including all of the salesmen in all 3 crews. It was during my first month of work that Kitchen Queen held its annual award banquet, and I was late in arriving because I was out pitching cookware. My photo appeared in the book that was published for that event. I still have that book and the award I received. This happened shortly before you left Kitchen Queen and took another position with a competitor. You asked me to follow you but I declined. All of this occurred in 1954 or 1955, during the first year of my marriage. I have thought of you many times over the years, and still wonder where I would be today had I accepted your invitation. I currently live in San Antonio, TX with my wife. - Posted by: Gordon & Eppie Giesbrecht (Aqaintance ) on: Jun 21, 2017
