JAMES R. SCHAU 1948 - 2017 Jim passed away peacefully, at home, after a long bout with cancer. Thank you to the home care workers who assisted in his care. He was predeceased by his brothers, Alf and Herb, and his sisters, Dolly and Phyllis. He is survived by his wife Erna, and his siblings, Helen, Neva, Barb, Chuck, Jerry and Darcy, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. His vocation and passion was cooking. He cooked in the Royal Canadian Navy, which was a feat in itself aboard ship in a storm. He cooked at institutions and hospitals, as well as on the Railways. Best of all he cooked for family and friends on special occasions. His wit and charm spiced up any get together. He will be sorely missed.
