Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDWARD CARRIER WILCOCK On June 15, 2017, in Gimli, Edward Wilcock peacefully passed away at the age of 96. Predeceased by his wife, Gwen; brother, Albert Wilcock; and only son, Barry Wilcock; he will be missed by his daughter-in-law, Lynn; grandchildren, Craig (Tammy), Garnet (Julie) and Nancy (Chris), and great-grandchildren, Coral, Cain, Sahara, Lucien, Maya, Aurora and Alexa, as well as many other extended family and friends. Ed served his country in the Royal Canadian Air Force, and had a rewarding career with CN Rail for 41 years. He was a member of the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce, Royal Canadian Legion, Anglican Church, B.P.O. Elks, Masonic Order, Manitoba Trucking Association and the Dauphin Flying Club. After retirement in 1981, Ed and Gwen moved to Gimli and enjoyed many years of golf, curling, and gardening. Family visits were always welcome, to sample the garden fare and enjoy some summer fun. Ed and Gwen took many trips and cruises, with lasting memories. The family would like to thank all the people who touched Ed in his later life - home care staff, cleaning lady - Cheryl, personal friend and advisor - Crystal, Soli, and residents of the Waterfront Centre. Interment will take place with family at the St. James Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Betel Home Foundation, Gimli or Agape Table.
