Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCATHERINE KERENKO (aka LANGAN) (nee PRUDEN) February 6, 1942 - June 20, 2017 Surrounded with the love and company of her grandchildren, our beautiful Mom peacefully slipped away to travel journeys yet unknown. Always known for her peaceful and loving nature, she always had welcoming arms and an open door for family and friends. Left to mourn... her lifelong partner and companion Wilfred Langan; her much loved children, Deborah, Jamie (Tracy), Paul (Melanie), Michelle and Jana, 14 grand-children and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by son Derrick (Collette) and son-in-law Ken. Cremation has taken place with a private interment to occur at a later date. A Celebration of Life service is scheduled for Tuesday, June 27, 2017, 1:00 p.m., at the Mosaic Event Centre, 1006 Nairn Avenue.

I was at Mom's trailer yesterday, and I found the Yahtzee dice sitting on the table. I picked them up into my hands and blew on them, while my mom called out, "Come on Cats Eyes". That was my childhood. Mom, Dad, Uncle Weaber and Auntie Cathy around the dining table playing Yahtzee. Now when I see the dice, I will always see her beautiful smiling face. To my favorite Aunt, who made myself feel great... hell, she made all of us feel like a million bucks when you chatted with her. My Mom will be so happy to see you, as she always was when you two got together. RIP beautiful lady. And to all your kids & their families, so sorry for your loss.
