LIZZIE JAMESON It is with sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Lizzie (Liz) Jameson on Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at Seven Oaks Hospital, at the age of 79 years. Liz was predeceased by her husband Ray and sister Irene Efstathio. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Dale (Rachelle), Murray (Joanne), Kelly (John) McKenna, sisters, Pauline and Jessie, partner Maurice Ruben, his children, Nadine, Diane, Annette and Marten, grandchildren, Joel, Julia, Evan, Derrick, Lyndon, Drew, Cory, Michael, Crystal, several great-grandchildren, and numerous family and friends. Liz grew up in Lowe Farm, Manitoba and moved to Winnipeg at 15 to work, where she met her husband Ray and later moved to Stony Mountain to raise their family. Mom had a love for life. She loved laughing, practical jokes and meeting new people. She made friends where ever she went. She also loved to bake and later spent 10 years with her husband Ray at the St. Norbert Farmers Market selling their baking and often selling out before noon. She loved to cruise and spent the last several years with Maurice enjoying various cruises and wintering in Texas. The family would like to thank all of her caregivers at Seven Oaks Hospital. In keeping with Moms wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Tuesday, July 4 at 11:00 a.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St. E.J. • My condolences go out to the Jameson family during this sad and difficult time. Auntie Liz was a bright, ray of sunshine with such a positive attitude. Once my mother (Lizzie's sister) passed away, Auntie Liz took it upon herself to reach out to me on a regular basis to make sure I was still receiving family news and updates. I'll be thankful for that for ever. Rest in peace. With love, Gina Efstathio - Posted by: Gina Efstathio (Niece ) on: Jun 29, 2017
