Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHELEN DESJARLAIS (PRINCE) It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear mother, Helen Desjarlais on June 22, 2017 at the Health Sciences Centre, aged 67. Helen was born in Scanterbury, Manitoba on November 2, 1949. She was predeceased by her parents: Ronald and Lena Prince, her brothers: Benson, Albert, Reginald, Kenneth, and George, sisters: Rose and Dorothy. She is survived by her daughter Marsha, sons: Reggie (Penny) and Jeff, grandchildren: Autumn, Venessa, Trey, Gabriel and Jada, sister: Mary, partner George, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Prayer service will be on Friday, June 30, 2017 in Brokenhead Ojibway Nation at the Private Tom Chief Memorial Centre at 7:00 p.m., Funeral will be on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. also at the Private Tom Chief Memorial Centre. The Officiating Clergy is Father Augustine Ezediniru. Pallbearers are: Chris Prince, Michael Prince, Devon Prince, Larry Prince, Michael Funk and Farrell Spence. The family would like to thank the staff at Health Sciences Centre - MICU Department for all their efforts in helping our mom in her final moments. I knew Helen for a long time, she was always welcoming and a very sweet lady. She was always generous and kind to my children and I, I will remember her as one of the sweetest women I ever met.
