JANICE MARIE ZONNEVELD (nee RIGAUX) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Janice Zonneveld, our mother, in the early morning of July 3, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer. Janice will be lovingly remembered by her beloved husband of 50 years, Cornelius (Casey); children, David (Tammy), Jill (Dennis), Gilbert (Holly) and Patrick (Erica); 29 grandchildren; siblings, Raymond and Ken (Donna) and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A special thank you to all the doctors, nurses and staff of the Portage District General Hospital, Health Science Centre CancerCare, Sunset Palliative Care, Portage home care services and to the paramedics who took care of Mom. Prayers and recitation of the Rosary will be held on Friday, July 7, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel. Requiem Mass will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m., led by Father R. Lillis. Interment to follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Donations in memory of Janice may be made to the St. Joseph Bursary Fund, 480 McKenzie Street, Winnipeg, MB R2W 5B9.
