  • So very shocked and saddened to hear of Gerry's passing. We worked together at Art Metz Contract Interiors for many years. I always enjoyed my conversations with Gerry; he was such a pleasant guy that I not only considered a co-worker, but a friend. My sincerest condolences to Gerry's family and friends. May he Rest In Peace. - Posted by: Debbie Schmidt (Past Co-Worker) on: Jul 12, 2017

  • Many memories came flooding back when I was told of Gerry's passing. From playing hockey together as young kids, through all our school years and then following "the band" around as we edged into our 20s. I'm shocked and saddened by his passing, my condolences to the family. - Posted by: Murray Hill (Freind) on: Jul 10, 2017

  • My most heartfelt condolences to you, Jeannette, Wayne and Dale, as you grieve the loss of a son and brother. My memories go back to Ian Place in North Kildonan when the children were young. The neighbours were a close knit group and we all watched out for one another and our children at play. The street was a safe playground for young children. After the Thornsons moved, it was always a happy time when we chanced to meet to catch up on what the "kids" were up to and later what they had become in their adult years. Precious memories make up a lifetime, no matter how long or short that lifetime is. I sincerely hope those memories will bring you comfort in the months and years ahead. Thinking of you in your time of sorrow, Shirley Augustine - Posted by: Shirley Augustine (Former neighbour) on: Jul 08, 2017
