Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIRIS (ORYSIA) GNUTEL August 23, 1933 - July 8, 2017 Iris Gnutel (nee Makowsky) joined God in eternal rest on July 8, 2017. Iris (Baba) was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Iris has joined her son Donald in heaven, and leaves to mourn her husband of 65 years, John, sons David (Genia) and Michael (Mary), daughter-in-law Michelle, grandchildren Alexis (Daniel), Daria (Chad), Joshua (Ulana), Greg (Jenny), Matthew (Susan), Stephen (Allison), Luke and Amy, great-grandchildren Lincoln, Isabella, Emma, Madeline and Sophia, numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a long time member of St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church and its UCWLC. Iris was kind, caring and compassionate, her faith giving her strength and resilience. Baba's greatest passion and joy was loving her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Thank you for your endless love, support and care, Baba.We love you. Service will be held Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 400 Day Street. Interment to follow at Green Acres Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Iris' memory to St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Heart and Stroke Foundation, or Alzheimer Society. VICHNAYA PAM'YAT
