  • Lyndon moved away from KRS before grade 6 but I remembered him when we ran into each other again as adults in the Mech Eng program at uManitoba. Lyndon was one of the nice ones. I suffered a LOT of bullying as the only Chinese kid in the school and Lyndon was one of the few that treated me like a human being, a kid. This was the 70s so it wasn't incorrect it seems to pick on and hurl racial slurs at the kids that weren't white. We chatted via linkedin or email periodically starting probably when we were in our 40s. So sad for your loss Vicky. I was hopeful that our paths would cross one day but time ran out. Godspeed dear friend. - Posted by: Kenneth Wong (Friend from Kent Road School (elementary school in Winnipeg)) on: Sep 12, 2019

  • I was shocked and saddened to learn today that my old friend Lyndon had passed away. I am so sorry that I did not know earlier, and that I wasn't able to offer my condolences sooner. I worked with Lyndon (and Vicky) in my first job out of University 25 years ago. Lyndon was the best co-worker that ever had, and we became good friends. I always admired Lyndon and his passion and talent for restoring old mechanical machines. We enjoyed many great discussions on a wide variety of topics. When Lyndon and Vicky moved away to Kansas we stayed in touch periodically (but mostly because of Lyndon and Vicky's diligence), and I am sorry to say that life took over and we lost touch ... I always intended to connect again, and I wish now that I had made the effort to get together. Lyndon was such a great guy ... funny, smart, interesting, passionate, and industrious. The world is a sadder place without him. - Posted by: Jeff Aitchison (old friend) on: Jul 13, 2017
