MAX FOGEL It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Max Fogel at the age of 92. Predeceased by his parents Yakel and Ethel Fogel, sisters and brother, Freida, Jenny Pasicov, Sam, and his loving wife Eleanor, of 62 years. Max was born in Winnipeg and served in the Second World War with the R.C.A.F. overseas in the European Campaign, and remained a proud veteran. After the war he Joined Dominion and Great West Electric until his retirement 37 years ago. He loved a good joke and a good deal, and always kept us laughing with his dry wit. After Mom's passing there was not a day that went by that he did not call his kids to check up on them. He will be dearly missed by his children, Richard (Alison), Bruce (Renee) and Francine (Gary Bowmile); his grandchildren, Alanna (Shaun Babakhanians), Jordan, Cory, Jayda, Genevieve and Mariel, as well as great-grandchildren, Brooke, Madison and Bennett. He will also be mourned by his brother Harry (Shelly), brothers and sister-in-law, Gerry and Phyllis Arron, and Mel Newman. Graveside service was held at the Rosh Pina Memorial Park on Monday, July 10. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff on Unit 3 North of the Grace Hospital for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Grace Hospital Foundation or a Veterans charity of your choice.
