ROBIN JOHN BROWNRIDGE It is with heavy hearts that on July 10, 2017 we announce the passing of Robin John Brownridge who is now in the arms of his Saviour, Jesus Christ. Rob was born in London, England on April 16, 1942. He had also lived in Manchester and was a proud Manchester United fan in the days of Matt Busby. Left to mourn are his sons, Wes, Curtis, Kevin, Kelly and Ryan, many grandchildren, sister Betty, Mom and family in Kelowna, BC, and brother Bill and family in Strathmore, AB. Also thanks to Wally Munn for being a good friend. Rob was predeceased by his dad Gerry. Rob liked Coronation Street and Eastenders of England. He also liked reading true crime stories, was a fan of the Winnipeg Jets, Blue Bombers, soccer and darts. Rob used to belong back in the day to the Fort Garry Legion #90 where he played shuffleboard and curling. It was a lot of fun. Rob worked for Department of National Defence for 27 years and worked with and met many friends. Rob will miss his special pets, Woody, Cailee, Bonnie, Kali, General Gatsby and Bandit, just to mention a few, who will be with him forever in heart and soul. I will see you on the other side one day with Lady Tess, Hannah, Toby and Chaz. To Iris and Marie who stood by me from day one, love you lots. If Rob has left anybody out, he apologizes but they know who they are. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. If friends so desire, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
