I will always remember Winnie in the pretty dancing skirt she was wearing the first time we met! She was so filled with love and life! We are very grateful we had the opportunity to say Goodbye to her shortly before her passing. Fond wishes from Doreen & Reg. - Posted by: Doreen Pendgracs (friend) on: Jul 17, 2017

I've known Winnie all my life. My Mom Rhoda would have many phone visits and lunch visits which we would attend. We visited her on her 90th birthday and had a wonderful time. We have had visits also at lunches with Linda. We are sorry for your loss but you have lots of memories to look back on. I know how proud she was of all of you. We are sorry for your loss. Aunt Winnie was always a special person to all of us in the McClary family. We have been so lucky to be part of this great big group of relatives. I know she appreciated having her four kids close by in Winnipeg. You have been very good to her. We are so sorry for your loss. Winnie will be so very much missed by us all at SOGH hemodialysis unit; but, I had the honor of having a special friendship with her. Winnie and and Mother were good friends and also shared the same name" Winnifred". It was my mother's maiden name. My mom once told me it was what first drew them together as it is not a common name any longer. Their friendship progressed from there on and my mother and I thought very highly of Winnie. She would recall lots of memories with my mom and her and she kept my mom alive for me for a very long time. She was a kind, considerate, loving lady who always spoke so highly of her family. She was ever so proud of them.... and rightfully so. She will be sorely missed by all. Personally, I am so very proud of this strong determined lady, who died with grace and dignity. You will be missed greatly Winnie! Life's work well done girl love always Wendy Turner RN - Posted by: Wendy Turner (hemo nurse and friend) on: Jul 16, 2017

My Deepest Condolences to the family. My memories of Mrs. Cassell go back to my earliest childhood, and I will always remember her with great respect, as a caring person who was there to help and gave freely to many. She will be missed, but she is in so many of our memories. - Posted by: Shelley Ruth-Dunning (family friend ) on: Jul 15, 2017

Good memories of Winnie throughout the years our families were united. Winnie and her daughter Linda were together often. Especially remember Uncle Stan and Aunty Laura's 50th Wedding Anniversary in 2001 in St. Charles, Illinois. Winnie and Linda came to supper with big goggles and a big nose. The belles of the ball. Our condolences to the Cassell family. Your memories of your mom and dad will definitely keep you united in spirit.
