JOCELYN LEMON May 18, 1919 - July 15, 2017 Jocelyn Lemon passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on July 15, 2017, at the age of 98. She was predeceased by her loving husband Edward, son David, parents Harry and Pearl McWilliams, sisters Jean Kilgour and Rosemary Bracken, and brother Bill McWilliams. Left to cherish her memory are her children Ted, Peter (Linda), and Nancy (Ken) Crozier; grandchildren Laura (Steve) Wetton and Scott Lemon, Alison (Phil) Herner, Leslie (Dave) Boguski and Iain (Ashleigh) Crozier; and great-grandchildren Kiera Wetton, Emma and Evelyn Herner and Tessa and Scotch Crozier. Mom was born in Winnipeg and spent most of her life here, with the exception of her years of boarding school in Toronto at Branksome Hall and in New York. She was a loving, family-oriented, gracious person who always considered herself to be the luckiest girl in the world. Family was always of the utmost importance to Mom. She was devoted to her family and happiest when we were all together. Volunteerism played an important role in her life. She was a long time member of the Junior League. She canvassed for many charities, and was a founding member of the St. Luke's whale sale. Many happy summers were spent at Whytewold, first at Maclan and then at the Lakeside Lemon cottage where she loved to entertain all of the family. A celebration of her life will take place Tuesday, August 22, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke's Anglican Church, Stradbrook and Nassau. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the United Way, St Luke's Anglican Church Building Fund, or a charity of your choice.
