ROBERT (BOB) GILLES GUYOT March 1, 1948 - July 13, 2017 It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Guyot on July 13, 2017, at the age of 69, at the Kelowna General Hospital, surrounded by family. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Karen (nee Robbie), her children, Robbie Boyle of Vancouver and Kelly Boyle Suffield (Tara Suffield) of Winnipeg, Bob's children, Jackie (Shannon McDonald) of Calgary and John (Suwanna Kongkamud) of Vancouver, and six grandchildren, Evan, Jeremy, Aiden, Maxou, Kaya and Zoe. Also left to mourn are his sister Lorraine Turenne and her family of Winnipeg, his brothers-in-law, Brent Robbie (Donna) of Osoyoos and Scott Robbie (Sue) of Winnipeg, his first wife Lois Guyot of Winnipeg, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Bob was predeceased by his parents, Gilles Roger Guyot and Andrina Smith Gray, and his brother-in-law Gerry Turenne. Bob loved his family and friends, and shared the fruits of his labour with all of them. His generosity was always extended to those around him and if anyone needed work done, Bob was the first to volunteer his time. There was rarely a weekend where someone wasn't at the lake being entertained by Bob and Karen. From Royal Lake to Macara and on to Lake of the Woods, Bob built beautiful homes with his bare hands where everyone was always welcome. A celebration of Bob's life will be held at Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St., Winnipeg, at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 21, 2017. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba.

We enjoyed Bob's and Karen's company very much, especially in Weslaco, Texas at Magic Valley Park. Bob was so much fun to be around and often had a mischievous smile on his face. He will be greatly missed. Brant and June - Posted by: Brant Fenske and June Tyler (Friends) on: Jul 19, 2017

So many great memories; lots of laughs whenever and wherever we got together. We’ll miss your stories, jokes and just plain silliness. - Posted by: Bobbie White (Friend) on: Jul 19, 2017

Bob's presence on this planet did not go unnoticed. He touched the lives of so many with his wit, tall tales, clever skills, and cheeky smile. Bob was the most generous, helpful, and kind person many had the privilege of knowing. I was honored to call him my friend and I will miss him dearly. Rest, "Dear One". - Posted by: Myrna Lanthier (Friend) on: Jul 18, 2017

Bob was a great neighbor and friend, with a sense of humour like no other, what a fun guy. He never quit working, either for himself or for others. He will be greatly missed. Ann & Gerry - Posted by: Ann & Gerald Graves (Friends & Neighbors in Magic Valley Texas) on: Jul 18, 2017
