DAVID MICHAEL HARDISTY (Manitou Makwa) February 4, 1980 - July 17, 2017 It's with deepest sorrow, the family announces the passing of our son, brother, daddy, uncle, nephew and friend at the age of 37 in Winnipeg. David is survived by his parents, Roselyn and Victor, sons, Keegan, Mathis, Donovan and Gavin, his sister Lindsay, and brother Bryceson, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, too many to mention. David is predeceased by his grandparents, Edna and Arnold (Taffy) Hardisty, and Marie and Rod Genaille, his siblings, Corey (2014), Glenn (2017) and Brett (2017), as well as many aunties, uncles and other relatives. David was a hard worker, a loyal, trusting, humorous friend, known to many as Dynamite Dave. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him. There will be a one day wake at Brokenhead Ojibway Nation on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. followed by a two day wake in Hollow Water from Thursday, July 20 to Friday, July 21 at Madelaine and Ed's home. Funeral is Saturday, July 22 at Hollow Water Community Hall at 2:00 p.m. Burial at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church. The family would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff at the Health Sciences Centre 6th floor Leukemia Bone Marrow Ward for their compassionate care of David. Thank You.
