Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • My first posting was in Lahr in 1968. I worked for Capt Konopetski. He was the Finance Officer at that time. He was a very kind man. Sincere condolences to his family - Posted by: Joan Carbonell (Friend) on: Mar 19, 2023

  • Just submitted a condolence and listed Moose Jaw as the location that I worked for John, in fact it was CFB Cold Lake. My apologies, like many military families, we have had too many transfers and they can get mixed up, Nicky Compton - Posted by: Nicky Compton (Friend) on: Jul 26, 2017

  • So sorry for your loss. I worked for John as Capt Konopetski in Moose Jaw. I remember him as kind, fair and with a wonderful sense of humour. I grew up in Pubnico, NS and he always looked for opportunities to joke about this. Fond memories indeed. I hope your entire family will be comforted by your many memories of a man that was certainly well loved by us all many years ago in Moose Jaw.
