BERNARD (BUD) CHARLES HUSAK 1933 - 2017 Peacefully at home on Thursday, July 27, 2017, our husband, dad and gido passed away. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Kay, daughter Shannon (Leonard), son Stuart and grandchildren, Aneliese, Zachary (Kallie) and Kayla, (and her mom Yvette), sister Pat, sisters-in-law, Pearl, Olga, Nellie Mildred and Marilyn, brothers-in-law, Bob and Joe, cousins and numerous nieces and nephews. Bud was born in Fisher Branch on July 23, 1933 to Mike and Jeannie Husak. He married Kay Hnatiuk on October 17, 1953 and moved to Winnipeg where they lived and raised their family for 22 years, although he worked various construction jobs in Winnipeg and up north, Bud continued to farm weekends and returned with his family to reside in Fisher Branch to farm full time until he retired in 2012. Bud loved all-star wrestling on TV. The company of family and friends and a good shot of Crown Royal. Flying was Bud's life long passion. He earned his private pilots licence in 1959, and enjoyed crop spraying and giving pleasure rides to family and friends. An avid hunter, Bud enjoyed his hunting excursions and enjoyed visits every fall for the past 30 years with his 'Baudette Buddies'. The family wishes to thank the RCMP and paramedics for their assistance and compassion. Cremation has taken place and as per Bud's wishes, there will be no services. Interment will be at a later date, privately with immediate family. Flowers gratefully declined, instead we ask that you commit an act of kindness, in doing so, this is how you honour his life. FISHER FUNERAL HOME INC. In care of arrangements. Fisher Branch, MB 204-372-6803 or 204-372-6271
