Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRICHARD AUGUST ANDRIES It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Richard August Andries, on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at the Grace Hospital, at the age of 80 years. Richard is survived by his wife Joan; former wife Liz, their daughter Kim (Randy), grandchildren, Casey and Wesley; his daughter Darlene (Randy) and granddaughter Elizabeth; brothers, Fred (Gail) and Kenneth (Val); numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents and brothers, Maurice, James, Thomas, Henry and Colin. On June 5, 1937, Richard was born to parents, Mary Ellen and August Klement Andries in the RM of Dauphin, Manitoba, on the family homestead. He travelled and lived throughout Manitoba working with the Municipal Government; residing in Silver Falls, Manitoba and finally to Winnipeg where he set down roots and lived for the past 37 years. An interment and gathering will be held at a later date. We wish to express our gratitude to the staff at the Grace Hospital for their care and support during this difficult time. Richard and my staff always enjoyed Richards humor and friendship . i am 20 years younger than he and Richard taught me many life experience that i am now sharing with my children .
