Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLUCIE VICTORIA CLEMENT (née SABOURIN) May 24, 1925 - August 7, 2017 Lucie was born in St. Jean Baptiste, MB, growing up on a farm with 10 siblings. She loved riding horses. Her beauty and grace remained throughout her life. Lucie met her future husband, Pete, in St. Boniface. After marrying, they spent one year in Churchill where their first child was born. They transferred to CFB Shilo where all four of their children grew up. Here Lucie became a figure skating judge travelling to many communities. She loved travelling around the globe. Hawaii was her favourite destination calling it her "home away from home". She returned with Helene as recently as March, 2017! She was also an avid sports fan and could connect with anyone about hockey, baseball, football, or figure skating. Lucie could predict the Stanley Cup winner well before the end of the season! Lucie was predeceased by her husband Pete, brother Roland and sister Florence. Left to mourn her passing are her children: Elisabeth (Dell Iannone), Helene, Robert (Ellen) and Lucille (Franki); grandchildren: Patrick (Stephanie), Marlo (Mitch), Danielle (Adam), Stephanie, Tricia (Christopher), Paul (Stacey) and Dean; and great-grandchildren: Mila, Luca, Max, Eliana, Delano, Noah, Caleb, Madison and Paisley. A sincere thank you to the nursing staff on the fifth floor north of the Grace Hospital for their compassionate care. Mass will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Charles Catholic Parish, 320 St. Charles Street, Winnipeg, MB. Reception to follow. According to her wishes cremation has taken place and a private interment will follow.
