ESTELLE MARIE GOOVAERTS June 19, 1938 - August 8, 2017 Estelle Goovaerts passed away very peacefully on August 8, 2017 surrounded by her children and granddaughter. Estelle was predeceased by her husband Roland Goovaerts. They would have been married 60 years this past May 18. Estelle was from St. Front, Saskatchewan and the youngest of 11 siblings. Estelle is survived by her brother Joe LeStrat (Yvette) and sisters, Alice LeStrat and Irene Cunningham (Bob). Estelle is lovingly remembered by her children, Raymond Goovaerts (Pam), Joanne Debenham (Peter), Suzanne Dyck (Doug) and Claudette Ward (Glen). She will also be missed by her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered by many relatives and friends. Family was very important to Estelle and she was always there for them in generous ways. She had many talents, sewing, cooking, gardening, crossword puzzles and reading, to name a few. The greatest of her talents was the ability to be a loving mother. The funeral service will be held at 725 Lagimodiere Blvd. on Monday, August 14, 2017. A celebration of Estelle's life will start at 1:00 p.m. followed by a reception. Interment will be held at a later date as a private ceremony for family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Springs Inner City, in care of 595 Lagimodiere Blvd., Winnipeg, MB R2J 3X2.
