SUZANNE STYLES (nee BIBAUD) 1945 - 2017 It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Suzanne Styles on August 9, 2017 at St. Paul's Hospital in Saskatoon, SK, at the age of 72, after a courageous journey. Suzanne was born July 30, 1945 in Winnipeg, daughter of Jeanne and Phillipe Bibaud. She attended St. Mary's Academy and later pursued a degree in Education, with an emphasis in special education. She began teaching in Winnipeg, then moved to Saskatoon in 1973. She was a regular classroom teacher, special education teacher and French immersion consultant. Her passion for teaching touched many students' lives over her long career with Saskatoon Public Schools. In 2002, she received the Rezansoff Award for her dedication and exemplary work teaching in French. Ron and Suzanne travelled extensively with friends and family during their 45 years of marriage. She found great joy in getting together with family and friends for all celebrations. She cherished the time spent with her grandchildren and attending their activities. During her retirement years she enjoyed bowling with the Mighty Maples and Spare Parts teams, as well as curling. Her commitment to support students continued into her retirement years, as she tutored many students. Suzanne will be forever loved and missed by her husband Ron, son Gordon, daughter Julie Baisley (Sean), grandchildren, Olivia and Connor Baisley, brother Rene Bibaud (Suzan), brother-in-law Russell Simmonds, sister-in-law Joanne Clark (Al), special niece and nephews, Russell, James and Patrick Simmonds, Kirsten Walter and Chris Clark, as well as numerous friends. Suzanne was predeceased by her parents and sister, Madeleine Simmonds. The family would like to thank all the special people whom supported and cared for Suzanne over the years. Please join us in a "Celebration of Life" on Friday, August 18, at 2:00 p.m., at Windsor Chapel, 704 Windsor Street, Saskatoon, followed by refreshments. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Saskatoon Public Schools Foundation (www.spsd.sk.ca/program/foundation). Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • Ron, Gordon and Julie I was saddened to hear of Suzanne's passing. We taught together in the 1970's when we shared an open area pod at Victor Mager in St. Vital.I have so many wonderful memories of her. At times like this we realize how fragile life really is. My thoughts are with you. - Posted by: Pat Leung (friend ) on: Aug 14, 2017
